Agent cost calculator
What does web access cost per user?
For anyone building an agent framework or an agentic app, like OpenClaw or Hermes. Pick how active your users are and how many you have, and compare a month of searches and page reads across the APIs agents use.
Why we can price it like this
The power of a real-device community network.
What real people see
Every page loads on a real phone or computer in the country you choose. Your agent sees exactly what a person there sees, not the blocked or watered-down page a data center bot gets served.
A community, not a server farm
People around the world share their real devices and help each other unblock the web. More devices means more capacity, so the price per page keeps falling as the network grows.
No free tier to pay for
We don’t spend money fighting bots that farm free accounts. That saving goes straight into the price you pay.
Our mission is an open web. UpRock is a DePIN, a decentralized physical infrastructure network: devices people own, doing the crawling, the compute and now the video. We're building a future where every agent can reach the web freely, in real time, at a price anyone can afford.
Uses the agent every day, a few research tasks
240,000 searches and 900,000 pages a month.

Free plans are per account, not per user.
Every user of your app shares your one API key. A free plan worth $10 a month is worth $10 at 100 users and $10 at 100,000. The calculator subtracts each vendor's monthly free plan anyway, so you can see where it matters (a small app with light users) and where it disappears.
How we got the numbers.
- Usage profiles are estimates. Nobody publishes how often agent users search. One search turn is about 1 search and 3–5 page reads; a deep-research task reads 20–100 pages. Presets per user per day: light 2 searches and 6 pages, regular 8 searches and 30 pages, power 30 searches and 150 pages. A month is 30 days. Change them to your own.
- Each vendor at its cheapest. Lowest-priced search type, the cheapest plan for the volume (Firecrawl at its yearly-billed price, Tavily's monthly plans), and the monthly free plan subtracted. One-time credits aren't counted.
- Prices checked 4 Nov 2026: Firecrawl pricing, Firecrawl billing (search = 2 credits), Tavily credits, Exa pricing, Parallel pricing.
- What the stacks include. UpRock: Live multi-engine research from a chosen country; pages from real devices. Firecrawl: Cheapest plan for the volume, billed yearly (Scale: $599/month for 1M credits, $1 per 1,000 after). Tavily: Cheapest monthly plan for the volume ($5–8 per 1,000 searches); extract 1 credit per 5 pages. Exa: Lite search $4 per 1,000 (default type is $7), contents $1 per 1,000. Parallel: Fast search and extract $1 per 1,000 each; $80 one-time credit not counted.
